Travis Ogden has earned a BFA in Metal Art from the University of Texas at Austin —1972 and a Masters in Metal from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo.—1980.

He Taught the University of Colorado Continuing Education Metals courses from 1982-1985.

He also taught Metalsmithing and Casting courses at Front Range Community College in Denver, Co. from 1986-1998.

He has been making one of a kind jewelry for over 27 years.

In 2003 Travis won the Niche Award for a pair of Sterling Silver Hollow Anticlastic Candlesticks.

He was a Niche Award Finalist 2007 and a Finalist for two different entries in two different categories in 2009.

Besides making jewelry, he loves to create bronze sculpture and other hollow anticlastic metal sculptures. Many of his pieces take several days or weeks to complete, due to the complexity of design and technical expertise he exhibits in his work. His craftsmanship is exceptional.
